The world’s longest established outdoor trade event looks ahead - and back
The success story of the world’s leading trade show for the outdoor industry continues - Major new entrants and returnees expected at the OutDoor 2013 from July 11 to 14, 2013.Friedrichshafen - Two decades ago, the foundation was laid for what has now become the world’s longest established trade show dedicated to the outdoor industry. Twenty years later, and OutDoor has become the summit that brings together the industry’s expertise from around the world in preparation for the new season. Registration figures for OutDoor 2013 - more than 620 exhibitors from 39 countries have already committed to attend - are already in line with the previous year’s record levels. "OutDoor continues to write its own truly unique success story. This summer we are very pleased to be adding a new chapter that includes many of the most renowned names in the industry”, explained Klaus Wellmann, Messe Friedrichshafen CEO.
Interesting exhibitors make their debut at the exhibition on Lake Constance in 2013: Dynafit will come to OutDoor for the first time. After a two-year absence, Sweden’s Peak Performance will return to OutDoor in 2013. "Industry visitors and journalists can expect a first class selection of exhibitors in 2013. Furthermore, with our ‘OutDoor Conferences’, organised in cooperation with our partners at the European Outdoor Group, we will be creating an important information and discussion platform to examine current and future industry challenges”, project leader Stefan Reisinger announced. "But the 20th OutDoor will also be an opportunity to take a look back at how far we’ve come. This year, visitors to OutDoor can look forward to a living history of trade shows for the outdoor industry.”
